Hunaiti Kaxé ( Grande Dia), é durante esta festa que os adivinhadores, os feiticeiros, pajés e curandeiros, comemoram e fazem suas previsões para o ano. A festa dura uma semana e acontece quando a Constelação da Ema está muito visível no céu, normalmente coincide com a Semana Santa.
Com seus utensílios misticos, os pajé rezam, fumam, cantam e dançam aos astros, à natureza, aos antepassados e aos espíritos. Entram em transe, se transportam para o passado e para o futuro buscando respostas para os problemas a serem resolvidos. Suas forças são grandes, suas mensagens são ouvidas e inquestionáveis. O Terena crê e isto é o suficiente para que ele alcance a cura.
O Pajé normalmente vive só e isolado em seu mundo, quem o vê acredica que fala sozinho, mas diz que nunca está só, fala com os espíritos que o acompanham e os auxiliam em seus trabalhos de Magia. Por isso a necessidade da solidão, caso contrário a concentração falha. É na natureza que busca as soluções dos inúmeros problemas que surgem, mas é necessário que tenham um tempo para resolvê-lo. É uma pessoa quieta, não é dada a muitas brincadeiras, todos o respeitam.
